This training program is designed to support compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514) by equipping employees - particularly those in commercial and industrial settings - with essential knowledge and skills for safe overhead crane and hoist operation. It emphasizes practical techniques such as pre-operational checks, rigging, slinging, and hazard control, while also fostering awareness of unsafe conditions and behaviours that often lead to workplace incidents. Through interactive discussions and hands-on practice, participants will gain a deeper understanding of crane safety and operational responsibilities.
