This training will focus on the emergency procedures that may be implemented quickly if an injury or illness occurs in the workplace. This is a hands-on course with several practical sessions that have been adapted to conform with infection prevention control (IPC) or standard precautions. Participants will investigate the common cardiovascular and other bodily systems that cause death in Malaysia. The necessity of defibrillation in reviving the victim will also be discussed, as they introduce themselves to the defibrillator. These lessons, in addition to the normal first aid training, will prepare them to perform their responsibilities as First Aiders securely.
